So many things about this weekend were filled with so much love - but I would be remiss not to share how it all came to be! Firstly, Kendrick’s Suit, tailored by @gilibertodesigns , fabric gifted by @bandjfabrics , his shirt from @cegonyc , cufflinks from a little show called Snow in Midsummer (@zi.alikhan ), haircut by Alif from @rogueandbeyond (whose girl works for our florist and friend @fridaysgarden ). My dress, which I did not bead - one of the top questions on everyone’s tongue - is a vintage 90’s Scala prom dress I picked up at @thevintageshow from @tootsvintage , the slip replaced and tlc by Kathy at @tricorneinc , slip fabric gifted by Jennifer at @previewtextile , shoes from @loefflerrandall . Pink Kebaya and Sarong a gift from my mother @yeo_helena , beaded slippers from @little_nyonya_batik , kerongsang a gift from my new parents from @goldsmithkimpohhong , earrings and necklace also a gift from my new parents from @foundationjewellerssg , rings by @clausjewelry , Hair beautifully coiffed by @queenbhart . Forever and a day ago- a play full of searing heat, nostalgia in my own secondary school uniform, the 90s of my childhood, and Singapore - a different time and place. < SWAN SPACE > A multidisciplinary performance project initiated by choreographer Chaery Moon, < SWAN SPACE > explores the journey of self-liberation through the language of the body. Drawing inspiration from the swan—a symbol of transformation and grace—the project investigates identity, rupture, and renewal across dance, sound, visual art, film, and media. Following premieres in Seoul (2023) and New York (2024), the third iteration, Declaration of the Independent Self, was presented in Seoul in December 2024 with an expanded vision. I don’t have many pictures from Eureka Day but truly it was the highlight of my Broadway season. I’ve never felt so welcome in a company like at @mtc_nyc and @clintramos . I’ve gushed about all these incredible humans before, and I’ll do it again to any one who will listen. Happy Tony Award to my dear Eureka Day Family. I love you all!!

Maybe the most amazing thing about this past Tony season was the fact that I got to work with so many AANHPI folks on shows that were not centered on AANHPI identity. It was so lovely to walk into rooms and not be the diversity hire, and this event organized by @aanhpi.bway was so incredibly affirming for us to see that we are not alone. This season I got to work with Anna Shapiro @clintramos @chelseachristeeny @davidbengali @danielleranno @rysn @anitaherro @no.te.quedes.inmovil @therogerteng and I’m sure there are more! Grateful for all the opportunities this Broadway season, looking forward to seeing how our community grows!

@somiepak told me I had to post more so here goes, Twelfth Night at Juilliard post #1 of many, the fabulous @lukrosario as Feste making all my dreams come true, with a corset that didn’t show up so then @janaviolante threw this gold masterpiece together in like a day. Last Floyd post I swear, these are the cards I made this year for the show. I try, especially when there’s a lot of people and vendors to thank, to make my own prints. These were made with @prixelpress and a press from @provisionalpress . I loved how easy it was to experiment and play with the Prixel Press - I could easily undo my mistakes (thinking of the time I carved a whole Lino block for the Disney thank you’s backwards) and play with the cave line drawing. <3 limited edition thank you cards - of which I only printed 60… and used all of them - if that gives you a sense of just how many people work on a show!
