Feeling all of the feelings now that Maxon’s album ‘Talking with Strangers’ is out in the world. Thanks to everyone who contributed your magic to it. It was a journey, and so is the album - in the best of ways. A real album. Not just a collection of songs, but a collection of souls in a magical dance from start to finish. atlantic city is out now 🌙 i worked with @jonosteer on this who helped elevate it to a whole new level with his sensitive musicality & even made me comfortable enought to record without a metronome.
we recorded at @synthtemple who let us be their first ever session & tended to our needs with such care.
@charlotteabroms encouraged me to get this recorded & I’d like to say thank you for her warm “of course you should” attitude & bringing the elements together to make it happen.
a massive shoutout to @_jordanacker at @gyrostream for the shortest turnaround ever on a release & george for helping me understand the world of licensing.

If you saw my last post then you might have thought I’ve been very busy lately...well I have, but nowhere near as busy as this beautiful shining light @charlotteabroms -
Charlotte is behind everything I do - she keeps everything running seamlessly, injects passion and sparks of creativity into every project. She’s helped bring a studio to life and shared it with people who needed it most, she’s built our websites, created strategies for our new endeavours, applied for grants for us, brought in new work and handled my business when I’ve been too overwhelmed to do so myself.
She’s emailed thousands of times on my behalf and all of this she’s done while being the absolute best Mum our little guy could possibly dream of. Her endurance is astronomical and she deserves all of our love (and rarely gets it being behind the scenes).
I love you Charlotte, thank you for everything you do for me and Hunter (and the music community)!
