“To Love Somebody” by the bloody brilliant @hollyhumberstone is out today. Thank you to Holly and legend @blobmilton for having me join your magic world, I’m so grateful and proud to be part of this song and the upcoming album alongside you both and many other close mates.
This world, as the album title tells us, can be a cruel one and a tough place but whenever I blast the crap out of this it brings some joy and some hope. It still makes me feel like we’ve just written it- very rarely does a song end up sounding, feeling and indeed looking like how you hope and imagine it just might. This one does, so thank you to @blobmilton and to @markspikestent for making that so.

This brand new EP from the world class, Brett Eldredge is out today. Something different, nostalgic and hopefully full of hope.
I got to hang with Brett and the brilliant Heather Morgan at our house and write & produce these songs a little while back. It was then the first project I got to throw myself into after our dear Dad passed away and getting to dive into this music, Brett’s unreal voice and Jordan Lehning’s incredible string arrangements was a real gift that I will be eternally grateful for.

Out now, “Lonestar Lovers” EP from @bretteldredge x I’ve had the privilege this past year or so to get to work with Brett. He is a world class singer, song writer and world class human being. Alongside the brilliant and kind @heathereleven we’ve gotten to create a collection of songs that I’m truly so proud of.
“Lonestar Lovers” is the last song I’m a part of that I got to play for my dear Dad before he passed away whilst we were on one of our ocean drives in South Africa and I will always hold onto that memory.
With Brett’s truly unreal, day of writing, one take vocal- it speaks to and I hope sounds like what I grew up imagining & hoping America to be- full of hope, romance and the great unknown.
Thank you Brett for having me along for the ride, I’m excited for all the tunes coming soon and congrats to all the other writers and co-creators.
