“Lee Ji Eun’s Hollowed Colours is meditative and ceremonial. I wanted to honour this by using sound to create an environment of space and stillness. The composition emulates the instant before the mind releases consciousness. In these moments, frequencies take on a new life, occasionally bringing you back into the room with a recognisable sound, like a voice, or in this case, a melodic motif. A gentle tug of war, until your mind finally submits and allows you to become absorbed.”

Made this one accidentally while testing a new synth, then added chopped samples of orthodox church bells, kind of loved how they sound since I was a kid.
