These two hardcore techno monster producers from Italy are in board to educate!!! “Witchcraft EP” marks the collaboration between XHL UNIT & VIRUS VOICE aka Luciano Lamanna. The record explores the darkest corners of the hardcore aesthetic through two interconnected tracks: “Witchcraft pt1” delivers a raw, straight-to-the-face return to old school hardcore while “Witchcraft pt2” dives into fragmented 90’s dark jungle rave style. A dirty, visceral, and esoteric EP made for the bravest sound-systems.

[NSR026] XHL UNIT - WHODFKISXHLUNT Never Sleep centralise prosperity for the welcomed return of sonic marauder @xhlunit ‘Combobreaker’ showcases the bombastic mutant arrangement style perfectly with acoustic fragmentation, dissected sound design and “5000cap hands in the air” junglist breakdown. ‘No Slappart 2’ fluctuates on the periphery of Hardcore but its elasticity allows genre metamorphosis withnods to Gabber, IDM and auditory distortion. ‘Human Traffic’ strips things to its essence and resonates with dance floor mechanics. ‘Jungle 1’ is as much in line with Steve Reich, Ginger Baker and Cliff Martinez as it does Dillnja. A masterclass in minimalism, a precise yet rolling drum work out and cinematic chordal echos allow the song to breathe in the chaos. ‘Wideflorist’ closes on more hybrid sonetto movements and complexities its sequential crescendo.
