After two rounds of private audience test screenings in 2 years, HER SECOND ACT is finally picture locked.
Thank you to everyone who came, shared feedback, ideas, laughter, tears (no! I don’t like it), and honest reactions throughout this audience test journey.
Post-production actually started last year. During the very first test screening with the support of Ride With Hope, the film was still completely “raw” — no proper sound,music,colour grading. Just the story itself. But that screening changed everything for me.
Seeing audiences connect emotionally with the film gave me and my team the confidence that this story truly meant something. It motivated me to push forward, even when the reality of post-production actual cost and price is really a huge burden for me.
But seriously what I learnt is: A good post-production process honestly requires a good team, timeline, budget, and every cent counts to make it great with world class studio in finas and Iskandar studio. Thankful to my post team

thanks to my amazing post production partners and team, we worked things out step by step, payment by payment, trust by trust. (I got not enough money ah) 🥹🥹🥹 Somehow, we made it through. (From monthly payment haha)

Yes, almost there except the beginning and ending! I finally found the ending I want!! After so many years!! Yes! That’s the perfect ending!
And I can finally say this confidently:
This is a film you must experience in cinemas.
It’s cinematic. Emotional. Human. Passionate. Funny. Painful. Warm.
A story about family, dreams, marriage, identity, and finding yourself again.
Most importantly, this film carries everyone’s heart inside it.
Special thanks to my incredible entire team who supported me endlessly, taught me, guided me, and believed in me even during the hardest moments. This is my debut feature film, and without a doubt, it is the best thing I’ve ever made.
