We love getting to be part of @legacysouthbuilders golf tournament every year and @tuckershouse is an organization we support and fully believe in. They help families in middle TN make homes more accessible for children with disabilities, including all the little things most of us never even think twice about. Everything from getting through doorways, entering a shower safely, or even just being able to move through their own home comfortably. Really incredible work and an incredible cause. 💛
Also, somehow Pat and I started bidding against each other in the raffle over a bottle of Casamigos… which honestly feels very on brand for us. Marriage is thriving over here. 🫶🏼🥃😂
Big thanks to Legacy South for putting it all together for another year and everyone who supported such a good cause. We were unfortunately not back to back champs 😂 maybe next year I’ll play and change that 💁🏼♀️
The twins daycare was closed on Friday so they got to spend the day at work with mama learning the trades 💪🏽 everytime we walk into a restaurant bathroom Blair will say “mama did you design this bathroom?” 😂 not quite my love, only the ones I show you! At @coveringsshow women’s networking event we talked about what everyone was doing to get the next generations involved in flooring or trade work in general because it is not talked about enough - I have faith Mack and Blair will be pros by age 10 lol

I’m still a little up in the clouds in the best way after Coverings this year. My operations manager and I had the privilege of being hosted by @louisville_tile and if you didn’t know they’re a 4th generation family run business 🙌🏽 and we got to listen to a panel on family business and the challenges and blessings that accompany that.
Somehow in between running around the show floor, touching every tile known to man, and talking shop with the best in the industry… I had the honor of winning an award and being in the 12th class of @coveringsshow Rock Stars. Everything about this show is how all of us can push the industry forward and elevate what’s to come next and it never disappoints.
The Women in Tile luncheon is always a highlight for me.
This industry can still feel very male-dominated day-to-day… so getting to sit in a room full of incredibly talented, driven women who get it — the jobsite chaos, the client expectations, the constant problem-solving — it hits different.

Warmer tones, softer movement, less sterile — clients are craving lived-in, natural spaces. • Natural stone looks on porcelain = next level
The imaging?? It’s getting scary good. Veining, depth, variation — we’re getting closer and closer to indistinguishable. • Metallic + deco is creeping in
Not loud (yet)… but it’s coming. Think accents, textures, statement moments. • Large format is NOT going anywhere
If anything, it’s getting bigger, cleaner, and more refined. Minimal grout lines are still king.

This new construction was fully designed by Vicky with @thisbluehome , and once the homeowner stepped in, she immediately fell in love with every detail of Vicky’s vision. (Other than changing our striped bathroom to a pink one for her adorable granddaughter)

End-of-year awards night + annual Christmas party, and I was honored with the Pinnacle Award.
The description talked about standing at the peak of excellence—someone whose work ethic, character, and leadership inspire others and drive the company forward. Truthfully, that’s not something I consciously strive to be. That’s just second nature for me. My name is my brand and I can’t do something without knowing I gave it my all and my best. (and probably something I should thank my mother for 😉)
What DOES matter is working for a company that truly feels like family—one that notices the 6am starts, the 3am late nights, the wild ideas I throw out to grow and improve how we operate, the trainings I keep dropping on everyone’s calendars, and all the in-between moments that don’t come with applause. A McKinney/Jackson/Williams/Ford thanksgiving on the farm in Charlotte, with a macgyverd turkey fryer, clay shooting and eating carrots fresh out of the ground - quick trip to Jacksonville to love on my sweet Daddy Jack - reptile expo and snakes that the girls love - TN vs Oklahoma - and another amazing UT Majorette homecoming 🙌🏽 I’ve slept maybe 3 hours a night for the past three months but every minute has been worth it 🫶🏽
