I’ve been sitting with how to say this in a way that’s honest to my experience and still generous to others who may see things differently. Being part of John & Margi Dehlin’s work marked a real turning point in our lives. It gave language to things we hadn’t been able to name, and helped us find our footing again. I don’t take that lightly. I know these conversations can feel complicated, especially for those who love The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I respect that. Many of us came from sincere places. At the same time, I’ve had real things to unlearn—especially around voice, authority, and codependency. Speaking about that isn’t about tearing anything down. It’s about becoming whole. So I’ll say this clearly: I’m deeply grateful for John & Margi and the space they have created. I support them and the work they continue to do. It has been a lifeline for us—and for many others. I believe we can hold all of it: faith, doubt, gratitude, and truth. That’s the space I’m choosing to stand in.
