Meet the photographers! These are some of the beautiful faces behind ‘Wild and Free on Our Adventure Playgrounds’.
I took these portraits through a collaborative process. They chose the location, the pose and the moment the photo was taken.
I’m pretty new to medium format photography and so I’m super proud of these portraits, especially as most of them were taken in one shot to save on film costs.
So proud of this lot! Their photos and stories platform the joys of adventure playgrounds, the crucial work of playworkers and the urgent need to protect and sustain these spaces for future generations.

Ridley Road community showing up in solidarity with traders who are currently fighting eviction (again). Alongside community members, traders have been occupying the shopping village since the 31st of March.
This market has existed since 1880 (longer than Hackney Council itself) and is such an important hub for multiculturalism in Hackney. Developers are trying to push traders out to build luxury flats.
The Ridley Road occupation is a beautiful example of community resistance against gentrification and shows how truly valued these spaces are.
Find out how you can show up here @saveridleyroad .
Big love to @feltsoundsystem who came through and shared their beautiful system ❤️
