Club Are didn’t arrive on the scene so much as they erupted. In November 2023, London suddenly had a space where artists and creatives from across different scenes could come together and be fully themselves. Free from formulas or scene politics. Just the right people in the right place, and the collective energy that this was something worth building to last.
Since then, they’ve kept building it forward, nights where the community does more than just show up. They shape the energy into something collaborative, immersive, and alive.
Club Are is bringing the whole cathedral back to GALA next weekend. Dress to sweat.
@miel.co.uk and @shannensp_ join forces for their debut b2b at @palaisldn for our @thisisgala afterparty on friday 22 may.

When it comes to modern soundsystem ritual, Mala’s role is foundational. At the helm of DMZ he helped cement dubstep as an immersive, exploratory sound attuned to its roots as it pushed into the future.
That principle holds true more than 20 years on, as Mala continues to create and uplift all manner of visionary bass music through his own work and by running the mighty Deep Medi Musik. True to his towering legacy, Mala’s sets are a cathartic experience — a soul-rinse driven by sub-harmonic frequencies, meditative pressure and ecstatic release.
Find him closing out The Pleasure Dome next Friday at the HVYWGHT takeover.
Ahead of garage pioneer @toddedwards3000 ’s set at our @thisisgala stage, we selected 5 of our favourite hits from the New Jersey-born producer, vocalist and Grammy-winning collaborator.
Edwards’ chopped-up vocal style, swung drums and soulful house productions helped shape the sound of speed garage and UKG in the ‘90s, influencing everyone from Daft Punk to modern-day bass producers.
Catch Todd “The God” next Friday at the Rinse @thisisgala stage. Final tickets in bio.
While his supersized personality carries serious weight across the house and techno scene, Seth Troxler’s position at the top table is equally rooted in his encyclopaedic knowledge and impeccable taste.
As he makes his first, long awaited appearance at GALA, we’re eager to hear what such an accomplished DJ will bring to the party. From his Midwestern US roots to a decades-spanning path across every essential party, big or small, around the world, Troxler has earned his stripes through hard graft and irrepressible flair.
Prepare yourselves for a masterclass from one of the greatest to ever do it.
Two short weeks until Rush Hour’s Sunday showdown.

Five DJs. One instruction: make it feel like summer.
What followed was, by all accounts, an act of seasonal sorcery: birdsong from Texas, gems unearthed for the younger generation, blossoms unfolding on the dance floor, and a Sunday stroll that somehow ends at 4am.
A good British summer is never guaranteed. These mixes are.
