HOME HOME HOME! March and April has been a series of homes🤞🏻🥹 Had my exhibition in Kyoto where I’ve spent so much of my childhood, and after years..I was back to Singapore, my mother home 🏝️ and my new yet not so new home Milano and London 💋🇬🇧👩🏻🍳🇮🇹 my heart is immensely filled with love and gratitude that this year has brought me. All the people who made me feel at home in different spaces has gifted me so much more than I could ever have done on my own 🫶🏻💡🧸
Thank you to all that turned up to @offscreen_paris this year! Devastated that I couldn’t make it to Paris this exhibition but my heart is always warm and grateful for everyone who have sent their love and messages ❤️🙇🏻♀️ still mind boggled how such a simple scribble on a tube ride can turn out to be what it has become today

For the 10th year anniversary of @sou_fujimoto 2013 Serpentine Pavilion (now known as Reja, The Cloud) Rejarlitet Kalimtar the exhibition will be taking place 29th August — 15th of October 2023 in Tirana, Albania. Excited to share that we are presenting our installation, Forest of Time (2023) alongside other very talented artists within the space that holds a special place in our heart. 🍁☁️💧
“With no orbiting sun, does time feel slower or faster in the digital world? Forest of Time offers a sentimental and poetic lens on the Reja, through the meeting of the Sky and the Tree, two elements both expressive of the passage of time. The AR installation offers a contrasting yet complementary pairing with Sou Fujimoto’s architecture”

Struggling big strides for a fulfilling year, the project I worked on earlier in the year was shortlisted and awarded the Special Jury Prize for the Dior Photography and Visual Arts Award For Young Talents. “Word of Mouth” is a personal piece that will always stay so close to my heart. A group of randomly casted strangers filmed individually in an intimate studio set up..given a set of 80 words, being vulnerably open in this word association game. A psychologically emotional experience that documents every twitch, silence and hesitation. Thank you everyone who participated in this project, for trusting both the process and myself. The sense of confrontation and openness is what made this project so beautiful and successful in its own right and I am more than grateful to be able to continue exhibiting the piece and to share it with everyone else.
The 3 minute version is now up and exhibited in Parvis de la Grande Halle, Parc des Ateliers Arles, France
