Huge congratulations to @tomkligerman and @readmckendree on the release of their new book, Summer by the Sea. And big thanks for asking me to join them at their launch event at @rizzolibookstore ! This reel quite literally captures the pace of my whirlwind visit. The audience was captivated by the special point of view this book represents, and the “buddy adventure”-style of bookmaking that made it possible. We’ll be doing it again on April 30th at the Boston Design Center. Don’t miss it!! 🏙️ 📚 🌊 ☀️

The New England Home team wound down the year with a flurry of activity. Now that we’ve shipped the first 2026 issue of New England Home CT to the printer and shared in best wishes with colleagues and community near and far, we’ll be stepping away from our desks until January 5th. Happy Holidays to all! @nehomemagazine @capribos

I visited the Hammond Castle Museum in Gloucester, to see festive decorations by @elainequinninteriordesign and take a tour with executive director, Linda Harvey. “Deck the Halls” continues through January 4, and displays more Christmas trees (and possibly more fake fruit!) than ever before throughout the nooks and crannies of inventor Jack Hammond Jr.’s castle home. Does this first photo look familiar? Hammond Jr. who fashioned the medieval-inspired castle for himself in the late 1920s was also inspired by Isabella Stewart Gardner, and designed a covered courtyard for his swimming pool (8 feet deep and tinted green) just beyond the great hall and reminiscent of Gardner’s own courtyard. Thank you, Elaine and Linda, for a fascinating glimpse of “the wonderful wizard of Gloucester’s” eccentric mansion! @hammondcastlemuseum 🎄 🏰 🎄

I love a Saturday show house! And thirty years looks good on you, @roomswithaviewsouthport ! Catch the talents of this year’s twelve designers on view for one more day. The three day fundraiser for Southport Congregational Church’s charitable efforts closes in style tomorrow, featuring RWAV’s famous Bloody Marys—$6 all day at the Hadley Library Cafe. 🤩

Step into the Keynote Lounge (Suite 332) at 12:00 PM on 10.09 for #Donghia, Redefined with #DavidToback and @jennatalbott of @nehomemagazine . Did you know that after its acquisition in 2020 by @kravet1918 , Donghia’s comeback collection included more than 400 archival fabrics alongside brand new designs — reviving classics while reintroducing iconic lighting and furniture frames. This conversation explores how the legendary brand is being reimagined for today’s design world.
