I’m really excited to share with you a special 11/11 11:11 gift! Here are two songs from my new project JOYBENDER. This is the first new music I’ve released in over 5 years. LINK IN BIO! Please be the first to give @joybender.world a follow and stay tuned for shows and releases. PEACE, LOVE, & JOY to YOU and this wild living world.
A glimpse of my interview with @laraaji_official and Arji Oceananda for @sometimespublishing … So Psyched to share. The Laraaji flexi sounds incredible. I’m immensely grateful to Laraaji, Arji, and Sometimes for making this happen. Bless and Bliss to you all!
🍊 The world needs Laraaji now more than ever. The omniscient ambient forefather, the insightful laughter coach, the musical thought leader. The true appreciator. 🍊 I’ll never forget sitting cross-legged outside while Laraaji and Arji performed for about 200 of us at Jason Killinger’s On Out In Festival a few years ago in Philly. A moment we all became One, just as Laraaji says we always have been. He hugged us with an unforgettable vibrating AUMmmmmmm and we couldn’t stop laughing together.
The music for this orange flexi was created especially for Sometimes, and is guaranteed to be your favorite way to start the day now. It actually makes you a better person and it is only available inside issue 10.
The beautiful 9-page feature was completely written, designed, and laid out by Jason Killinger, a deeply important creative mind we’re honored to work with. For this, one of the issue’s most important pieces, Jason (and Jenna Robb) took a trip up north for Laraaji and Arji’s Thanksgiving retreat in 2023 and interviewed them over the course of a slow, thoughtful weekend. Your brain will grow three sizes and your heart will too. 🧡 Take a short step back in time with us, it’s the only way to see the future. 🧡 Link in bio.

Poster that I designed for the UP South Street Block Party happening this Saturday 2-9pm outside of @bobandbarbs curated by @vicariouslove … Come hang and check out the DJ/Beer Garden/Lounge that we will be setting up on the street.
Friends! Please join me, one week from today, as I’m playing with @usgirls.and.remy at @johnnybrendas !!!
I’m also pretty psyched on the poster I made for the show. I created a collage using a vintage photograph of microscopic flowers of crystalized sugar captured in polarized light.
Typeface is from MACKELLAR, SMITHS & JORDAN, a leading American type foundry from the 1800s. If you’re a parent in Philly, this might be especially interesting… One of the type makers, Richard Smith and his wife Sarah Smith are the ones who gifted their mansion to the children of Philadelphia, now known as Smith Memorial Playground.

I’m very excited to be playing this show next month. Working on some new material for it. I’m really excited about the theme of the dream.
It could be very easy for us in times of difficulty to retreat into reactivity, to double down on the idea of “resistance” and to stay in that place of “fighting against”. To believe in a world of enemies, of others, and of exclusion.
When I listen to my higher self, what I’m actually being asked to do is to respond, which is a different energy altogether. Our response, our response-ability to the world is also a creative act. Our cosmological inheritance is the act of creating and participating in the flowering of life.
So what do we want to create? What visions are emerging? A dream is a both process of uninhibited creativity and emergence. Of extending outward and of allowing in, like the breathe or the ebb and flow of waves. The universal pattern of all that changes, all flowing from the still point of the now.
The energy of Life is generative, it wants to unfold towards more and more complexity and beauty. Grounded in love, and moving courageously with faith in this capital L - Life which has already birthed us into this miraculous existence, I want to align myself with it, respond to the challenges of the present, and hold the most compelling vision imaginable for the yet-to-be.
“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.” ― Buckminster Fuller
Happy Birthday to my favorite magical faerie Capricorn, the one and only Jenna! @unclebubsy Thank you for being my partner, teacher, and friend. The creativity, resilience, and thoughtfulness that you embody in this world is an inspiration to all of the lives that you touch. Everyday I feel blessed to be here with you. I love you Jenna!
