New risograph poster from @jmacphee ! "This print is an evolution of another one of my "wormy arms" drawings. It started as an illustration for a public paper making activity (with Drew from Combat Paper) at a Iraq Veterans Against the War/Justseeds art exhibition in San Francisco over a decade ago."
May Day is International Workers' Day.
UAW President Shawn Fain has called on the rest of the labor movement to join us in preparing to strike on May Day 2028. It’s our opportunity to create a crisis for the billionaire class to win more for all of us.
When workers align their fights to the same timeline, we have more leverage than we do alone. What if we didn’t just do that in a corporate chain or one union, but across the country and the labor movement?
Now is the time to get ready to create that crisis for the bosses.

Big beautiful new screenprint from @jmacphee in the shop! "This print began as a sketch back in 2012, and I've been working on it here and there ever since. It evolved out of my general love of flags, banners, and pennants of all kinds, as well as my experimentation with the "language of the left." On the one hand, this image can be read as a celebration of an active and engaged life: a valorization of the day-to-day things most of us engage in—from dreaming to thinking to learning. On the other, the density of pennants and shock of color leave the eye few places to settle, and the print captures some of that feeling we get when overwhelmed by the sheer amount of work we have ahead of us—and the need to engage starts to feel more like a set of exhortations and directives. For me, it's this very tension that sits at the core of a socially-engaged life today."
