Last night was the opening of the 𝓥𝓮𝓷𝓾𝓼 𝓐𝓭𝓸𝓻𝓷 Art show at Sweet Peel. It was a sensory installation - each outfit had a perfume (crafted by @venus_invictus ) that was inspired by the piece, a song chosen to accompany the installation that you can listen to through an old telephone, and for the opening each also had its own cocktail. A multi sensory experience!
Inspired by life in micro-gravity, @crush.studio ‘s piece explores what renaissance silhouettes might look like translated for life in space 🫧🪐

These trees are alive! I created a series of fence panels with Grays Ferry youth artists to educate and engage park goers about the many diverse trees in Lanier. These powerful beings are alive, and we are in relationship with them. 🌳 Say hi, give love, breathe in, stay cool.

Introducing the Farrell Elementary School Literacy Loop! Jenna Robb ( @unclebubsy ) and I spent years designing this playful learning mural through @muralarts … It was completely inspired by the students and their families, and tells the story of interconnection… All of the plants, animals and insects represented in the mural are actually planted and living in the schoolyard thanks to the landscape design by @salt_design_studio … When you walk the loop, you experience the lifecycle of these plants represented on the path beneath your feet… seeds, sprouts, flowers, to seed spreading, to decomposition. The beautiful cycle of life and rebirth. Thanks to our amazing team… Jayna, Jingle, Kiera, Malachi, Dan, and Pat.
Today, in Earth time, I enter the final year of my thirties. In universe time, I’m an immortal fairy forever reborn in the flowers, mushrooms, and stars, propelled by endless love, recreated in joy and color and light and humus. I’m pretty sure.
