For the past year and a half, The Arena has been A&R consulting for the globally renown DJ Alan Walker. It’s been such a pleasure because I’ve been a massive fan for the longest time, and the team and I have participated in / placed 3 recent singles of his prior to this one, - “Dancing In Love” with MEEK, “Last Song” with Faouzia, and “Dust” with Robin Packalen.
When Alan’s team sent me “Old Habits” with the task of finding the right feature to go along with Farruko, I not only fell in love with the record, but I knew that Sofia Reyes would be the absolute perfect fit, so we made it happen. Not only does she sound incredible, it’s blossomed into a broader collaboration for them, and I’m thrilled to have contributed.

5 years ago when I started @thearenamusic on this A&R / songwriter management journey, I never thought being a part of placing a song like this would be possible. I have so much to say:
First off, to my client and one of my best friends evaaaaa… @dbreezi , what an amazing start for you and I this year. You work harder than anyone I know and I love you like a brother. You deserve this so much.
@aukoustics - it all started with you and I putting this writing group together, and it makes a lot of sense. We are part of a shitty club, but I’d like to think our dads were looking after on us on this one. 💔
@bjevz - you were incredible to work with my man. Thank you for being receptive of my little idea and being so patient and supportive.
@kylereynoldsmusic / @samamasongs - we’ve become family and I’m so grateful for you guys, and there isn’t anyone else I would have rather been in the trenches with on this.

- My first Coachella after 8 years living in LA! Getting to watch two songs I placed with @kaskade on one of the biggest stages was a moment I’ll never forget, but what made it even sweeter was experiencing it with such a lovely group of people.
While I did NOT win this award (thank you @wearearco for letting me use it as a prop!), Miami was a perfect mix of fun and productive this year :). I saw my favorite peeps, ate some great food, went to event after event after event, and it was topped off by Marshmello and Illenium featuring a new single of theirs that The Arena Music placed. Check check check. Excited for this year and everything ahead. LFG

1,000 classes @trainingmate !! Wow. I never thought a gym would transform my body and my life in such a major way. I hope everyone finds a version of this… a place that allows you to put a smile on your face no matter what happens outside of its 4 walls. I’m forever grateful to @milts1 for creating this very special place , and to my community there for making it a home that I never want to be without.
What have I learned from 1,000 classes? Keep showing up. That’s where the magic happens. Here’s to 1,000 more and beyond!
I turned 40 today! I think the main thing I want to share with everyone on this milestone birthday is to not pressure yourself into any standard. I’m single (hopefully not forever lol this may not age well) , never been married, no kids, no mortgage, and I’m happy! I’m surrounded by the best friends and family and I’m healthy and that’s all that matters. Love life and love what you do and surround yourself with those who care the most ❤️.
