Those who know me can tell you how much I love building with people early on. They might even tell you 2 or 3 stories on when I introduced them to their, now favorite, writing partner, or how we set up some really dope writing rooms together with a few of my artists. I firmly believe that if you are here after the data, you’re already too late.
That’s why my first project of 2024 is #GetToKnowMe. Every month, I am going to be taking an entire morning or afternoon to zoom/meet with some young and hungry producers, writers, artists that might not have yet gotten their first cut/hit, but have the talent, the passion and the drive.
In LA, we kind of live in our bubble sometimes and there’s already so much going on that it’s tough to have the time to look the other way.
With my #GetToKnowMe project, I want to make sure I’ll always make time to look the other way, and always make time to get to know the best new writers, artists and producers. I want to make sure to give back to the community as well and build with talented people from across the globe.
