After an incredible 10-year journey, I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from @flor
(fighting back tears as I write this)
This band has been so special to me that the decision to leave took me over two years to fully come to terms with. Life has been pushing me into the next phase for some time now. I resisted as long as I could, but it’s time for me to start my next chapter.
It has been the greatest gift to be a member of this band. One way or another, flor was the catalyst for almost every career and personal milestone of mine over the last decade. I would not be where I am today if I hadn’t hopped in the van with my brothers Zach, Kyle, and Mckinley. Performing with them all over the world was a high unlike any other – especially in front of the best fans a band could ever ask for. I am forever grateful to the guys, and to everyone who came along for the ride.
Thank you to everyone that has supported me and flor. Thank you to all the crew members that made the shows possible. Thank you to our amazing manager and friend Chris Georggin for understanding and guiding me through this transition. Thank you to my wife Paige for joining me on this voyage since 2018. Thank you to everyone in this industry that has taken a chance on flor.
I’m truly excited to see where Zach and Kyle take this next era of flor. We put out some of the best music we’ve ever made in the last year, and I’m sure that trend will continue without me.
Love you guys,
Dylan
