It's International Women's Day, and we wanted to highlight one of the most iconic women in #BrooklynBridgePark history: the "Jane" in Jane's Carousel. Jane Walentas purchased and restored Jane's Carousel, which is on the waterfront near Empire Fulton Ferry, in 1984. Originally built in 1922, it took decades for Jane to restore it and is now one of the most well-known landmarks in BBP. The next time you find yourself in the park, make sure you stop by and take a ride in Jane's honor. 🎠 #janescarousel #dumbo
