A vision I've had for a while now has finally become a reality! The vision is this:
- You need some aesthetic snacks for an art event
- Here I come in a green jumpsuit and a green cart
- I construct a carefully designed cheese and cracker grid on a long table, wearing green gloves
- The building of it is mechanical, in tempo, rhythmic
- When it's complete, I ring a green bell
Now I have my cart + my jumpsuit yall!! Where's my first stop?
I love when I can surprise myself with my own color choices. Yes, green + red is a go-to combo for me, but this muted yellow and burnt gold just happened in the moment. It all kind of reminds me of something antique, somewhere between a lamp and a squash. Anyway, Happy bday Joey!
i've never been a minimalist. but this cake has been stuck in my mind for a while and i finally made it - this kind of pale green cake with a red-orange piping like you might find on the edges of sofa cushions.
This afternoon I've been brushing up on my geometry. I always liked geometry, math in general. I have a great appreciation for right angles, specific names for shapes we never use, all the formulas I've forgotten, but I'm sure say volumes about how the world works.
i have a suspicion that there might be some celebrations this Spring and Summer that may benefit from a long line of aesthetically curated crackers with high quality cheeses and homemade spreads. what are the chances i'm correct ?
