This is my new @mcprescuepack foster Nathan aka Nate dawg. He came in as a stray via Texas. He’s a little over 1 and sweet as can be. Last night he passed the doggy bar exam (see slide 3) and was a perfect angel at @thenativechicago . He’s just about ready for forever…. Shortly after #MartaKenar started @mcprescuepack I adopted my girl @lefteyethechi . After seeing their remarkable work, I helped start the associate board. Life After Death was our first official event as a board in 2017. The event grew year after year, and 2020 was supposed to be our biggest event yet…then Covid happened. We could host other events and find other outlets for fundraising, but we had to wait until the timing was right for the big one to return. Well, we are BACK. THE REBEL BALL: Life After Death will occur on April 21st at Morgan Manufacturing. The food will be glorious with bites from @therealsushisan @raviniabrewing @shakeshack and lots of plant-based options (thx @newwavefoods ). The bar will be top-notch with an assist from @hospitality201 and cocktails from @hornitostequila @knobcreek @titosvodka @drinkdotties and @deepeddyvodka . Our silent auction will be rad with prizes like tickets to the Harley Davidson Festival in Milwaukee (Foo Fighters and Green Day are playing), passes to Pitchfork, Windy City Smokeout, Lollapalooza, Riot Fest, etc. We also have trips to New Buffalo, staycations in Chicago, and so on.
