Happy to announce that my new Brood Ma release Dadda is available to wishlist now on Steam 🧿

Dadda is a playable, visual album where the player
manipulates the limbs of a fragile automaton to shape a dynamic noise score.
The game is adapted for PC from software I built to perform at my live shows using a custom midi setup. The desktop version adds support for mouse, keyboard & xbox controllers 🎮
I’m releasing Dadda in early access on Steam in order to refine the final game based on player feedback - I've never opened up my creative process like this before but am excited to see how this might shape the project 🤖
Dadda is a real-time av performance. It features an album's worth of new and improvisable Brood Ma material. The musical automaton at its center (Dadda) is controlled live as an accompaniment to a dynamic noise score.
Dadda tested really well at @iklectikartlab last month with @sdf_collective_industries in front of a live audience. I don't have any dates planned going forwards but if possible, I would love to tour or at least play again live through some big speakers before doing a digital release.
The release itself will be .exe (currently stable on 2080+ Nvidia GPUs on high quality) and Wav (recorded audio only) for those that prefer their music passive.
