🌸SURPRISE!!! FLOWER TOWN OUT NOW!!!🌸 Flower Town is the first song I ever wrote, wayyyy back in 2019, and I am so immensely proud of the pets for doing it up in this track. It’s the second single from our upcoming debut EP, “3 Rooms” which is releasing on 1/24/25! To celebrate, we’ve got a heater of a bill at @sleepwalk.nyc with our friends @continentalshelf + @the.alabasters ! Link in the bio for tickets. The show will be a benefit show in support of @maketheroadny with all of the artist profits going to the org. The show is taking place the Friday of the inauguration and it is all of our belief that in the wake demagoguery, it’s our duty to do what we can to support and provide resources to the communities most targeted. Personally, as a child of immigrants, it breaks my heart to hear the messaging and language of the incoming regime. I’m not sure what the future of that holds, but I hope that at least with a night like this, we can come together, enjoy each other, and give back to the place many of us call home. Thank you all for making 2024 so special. 🚨NEW POST ALERT🚨 ~Since starting @dinerpets (follow the account god damn it) my whole view on insta has sorta changed a lot. What was once just Facebook 2 to me is now feeling more just like a promotional tool which i mean yadda yadda technocratic post capitalism fallout and how it’s affecting our relationships etc. blah blah anyways ~Posting to say that life has been busy and stressful and good since my last post. There’s been many adjustments but all of it has been ultimately good cause life, itself is good, and change, while scary and unfortunately necessary at times, can be good as well. ~Coming out of the pandemic I didn’t really know what my future would be. Unsure what job I would have, where I would be living, if I would even still be performing music. Fast forward to 26, I feel beyond lucky to be doing what I’m doing now with the people I am with. There’s definitely been moments sprinkled with pain and necessary growth, but ultimately I can say I’m proud of what I’m becoming and what I am doing these days. ~All that’s to say is that shit is good rn. The band will be having our first headlining show in support of our debut single at @thebroadwaynyc on Oct 18th w/ @africanarchy @daniel_christmas_69 and @the_resonaters . We’ve evolved so much as a band over the last six months and have grown to be something that I am immensely proud of. I’d love for you to check in to see how we are doing. It’ll be a blast. hello!✌🏼i’m back with another quarterly update 📺 ~back in november i posted that i was writing new music, in doing so, i have created my new project @dinerpets . @beau.dega , @roblessness , @pithecia_ and myself have been developing these new songs over the last few months and its been a dream watching us all grow together as a unit. hello! 🤙🏼haven’t posted in a bit so just wanted to provide an update! 🚨 ~back in september, my band and i were planning on playing a single release show for a song called “16 again.” unfortunately, i came down with covid two days before the show and had to drop~ ~while recovering at home, i had a lot of time to think. i came to the conclusion that the single and the ep that was going to be released behind it didn’t represent me. so i’ve decided to drop them…if you wanna hear them lmk and i can send them to you, but they will not be public anytime soon~ ~i didn’t realize how much weight those songs had on me mentally and creatively. so for the last couple months, i just allowed myself to write and explore~ ~which brings me to today, with shorter hair and microphones as I track drums for five new songs that I feel represent me as an artist, a word I’m trying to embrace more these days~ ~i’m very excited to share them soon with y’all. it will be way sooner than you think~ thanks for reading and see u ltr!! 😘
