🥀Please join us for a night you’re not gonna wanna miss. We are going to be starting the year on a note that is both somber and hopeful as we join @bigheadhaley for what may be their last show for the foreseeable future maybe??🥀

💌 I usually speak as “the band” in these posts but I want to clarify that from here on out this is all “Jake.” When diner pets were asked to play this show, I was bummed to hear that this may be the end of Big Head, a band I love and am proud to say I was once a part of. It really means the world to me to know that something that I was a part of at the start is something that I get to be a part of at the finish (potentially). I was the original drummer for big head, and being in the band was an incredible experience that taught me a lot about being in a band, being a musician in nyc, and how songs can grow into more than just sound and become a phenomenon in it of itself . To see what big head has become over the last couple years has been amazing to see. I left the band to be able to create the project that became diner pets, and we wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for Big Head. 💌
