Image Direction / Co- Curation for @_colechi Clean Fashion Summit at @somersethouse 🌍 Special thanks to @tinawetshi for getting me involved in this beautiful initiative. We spoke about how we can possibly create a layout with garments from amazing designers all over london as individual art pieces. This year's theme 'Land in London' was an opportunity for us to collectively explore what it means to create something sustainable in the city. Our panellists discussed creating localised circular ecosystems and how physical space is impacting the ethical fashion movement. This is not the finished form. It’s the part where the hand learns what it’s holding. A pause between decisions. A moment where nothing is fixed yet. Through touch, through making, something begins to recognise itself. In a conversation with @jahnavishaarma , as she takes us through her journey of how lace and crochet folded into ritual and inheritance. Drawers explores this most intimate yet collective space. A collaborative project between photographer Carina Lammers and stylist Jahnavi Sharma, the idea is presented as a beautiful and intimate softcover zine, bound in a combination of a Fuchsia Colorplan cover stock, semi-transparent endpapers, Munken papers and a red thread stitching.

@jahnavishaarma , our second moon has been a friend of @quarter.hq since its inception. In many conversations, we have mentioned to her that her work and vision is indeed ahead of its time. There were moments in this conversation where we were all in tears. Videography: @i.m.rishi Edit: @studio_rishi_ @scriptedartist Assisted by @aneishatoo @angadvishwasbishnoi Styled by @jahnavishaarma

Curated by Jahnavi Sharma (@jahnavishaarma ), ‘Women in Photo’ brings together 16 women photographers from India, creating an intimate space for personal, culturally rooted image-making and collective visibility. Set within a lived domestic environment, the exhibition addresses gaps in recognition and support for women’s photographic practice through community-building, alternative presentation and care-led curation, foregrounding intimacy, authorship and emotional visibility. Featuring the work of: @anaibharucha @aparna_aji @mollyemmaaa @_aastha.p @disha_shadow @hr_dya__sadanand @0sonder0 @komaltarte @doucethejuice @katieburdon @prachiadesara @mahija.mandalika @itsmarique @evelouisaa @sashasvanner @anmaflor

3 questions for @jahnavishaarma , the curator behind the curation of ‘Women in Photo’ “Women in Photo emerged from a personal and collective impulse to create a space where women can express their visual language without the weight of comparison, hierarchy, or cultural expectations. After returning to Delhi from London, I wanted to build platforms that centre women within photography, a field where their presence is greater than the visibility they receive. This exhibition came together organically, drawing on the work of women I know, trust, and admire to offer a space where our collective creative language can be seen fully. One intentional decision was to present artists by first name only; removing surnames was my way of dissolving markers of caste and class to equalise the space. The theme of intimacy shifts shape here, collectively building a portrait of womanhood that is complex, layered, and deeply felt. My aspiration extends beyond this moment, hoping to open doors for visibility, spark dialogue about women-led photography in India and collaboration with UK-based artists, and grow into a sustainable, community-driven space” Photographers in curation @anaibharucha @aparna_aji @mollyemmaaa @_aastha.p @disha_shadow @hr_dya__sadanand @0sonder0 @komaltarte @doucethejuice @katieburdon @prachiadesara @mahija.mandalika @itsmarique @evelouisaa @sashasvanner @anmaflor
