Hey I’m Jack, I’m a freelance Motion Designer, Illustrator and Graphic Designer from Stockport, UK. My passion is animation (Miyazaki is the GOAT). I specialise in 2D animation in After Effects. I enjoy solving problems with design and motion. I love using bold colours and textures in my work. You can find my recent showreel on my website:

In my spare time I like to relax by watching films/TV. I also like reading, I have set myself a target of reading 30 books this year (11 so far and counting). I am currently reading The Beach by Alex Garland.

A big thank you to the NDF team for having us as part of this year’s Community Day/Art Fair
As well as seeing some amazing talks from the likes of @split_design and @baxterandbailey.co.uk we also had a great spending time across the festival speaking to so many people about Process, creative communities, events, and all things design.
We met a lot of new faces, had some great conversations, and came away feeling inspired by the openness and support across the creative community. We're grateful to be a part of this.

We’re opening up submissions for creatives in our community to have their work shown on the big screen during the event.
It’s open to all attendees, just submit your work using the form in our bio.
If you’re joining us in Manchester on 6th Aug, this is your chance to be part of the night.
Submissions should be 1920×1080, either a static image or a video (up to 30 seconds).

Not just because it is going to be an incredible two days of talks, panels and workshops BUT us lot at Process MCR @process_manchester are going to be there. We are on the workshop stage on Friday at 14:45-16:30. Sandwiched between Redshift and Adobe…MADNESS!

The 28th of May has a whole new meaning to me, all thanks to @fedrigoni365 . I’m very chuffed to be included in the latest calendar. I got chance to attend the Manchester launch event @altogetherotherwise . It was a brilliant night getting to see all the glorious artwork on the walls. The first Manchester summer social was a hit. A huge thank you to everyone who came and hung out with us. We can't wait to announce what we have planned for the October event. Anyone up for a winter social?
Huge shout to Mel for her fabulous, honest freelance talk at MCR 005 last month. Full of useful nuggets of wisdom and one of the best takeaways for us was the need to stay positive. When you are a freelancer it is easier to be negative and thinking of all the what ifs and buts of what could go wrong. BUT Mel put it best when she flipped that sentiment… What if it goes right?!
