Had a great time attending the @aco_uk Masterclass the other week led by @dbizzle007 Was lovely to talk everything operating and get a better understanding of doing the A camera role on a large film set. A huge thank you to the @aco_uk for running the course, and to @onestopfilms for letting us use the equipment and support the course as a whole. For anyone debating joining the ACO I would say it’s definitely helped me, both technically as an operator and also make connections within the industry itself. Had a lovely time doing a short film for DOPs @petermarsden and James Friend two weeks ago. Was an absolute pleasure to start this year shooting some drama especially at such iconic studios! And with such lovely talented people! Was also great to work with kit serviced by @panavisionofficial Big shout out to Peter for taking such a lovely photo of me on set. I must say it was a dream shoot, and the icing on the cake was doing A camera due to the main operator having to go off to shoot Narnia! TBF: so here’s a good one from the past, circa 2010, a shot of me next to Keanu Reeves in documentary Side by Side. This was one of my first proper breaks in Television I got to light 3 interviews working with Keanu and his team. We did Danny Boyle, Anthony Dod Mantle and Geoff Boyle.
