On Thursday 23rd of April the ACO ran a DJI Ronin 4D workshop in Manchester. A huge thanks has to go to @nodramaltd for hosting, especially Matt Turnbull for making it possible, the Training Committee, Sham and Dan Gadd (@teamgaddltd ) for planning and organising, our wonderful AC’s Nick Coleman, Sandra Coulson and Abi McVeigh for their time and commitment, and finally Chris DuMont (@chrisdumont_ )for being a fantastic tutor and providing a workshop that was so hands on, interactive, informative and really great fun. Thanks also have to go to @zoeg_cam who helped ensure this came to fruition. We hope all that attended had a great time and look forward to more in the future!

*Half Man* is out today on both HBO and the BBC iplayer. Glasgow in Feb of 25’ seems like a lifetime ago, indeed some of the temperatures were like an ice age ago. Despite the cold and other challenges this was a wonderful job on which to be to be the block 1 A camera and Steadicam operator. A true camaraderie and a wonderful cast and crew carried us along through thought provoking, humorous and often difficult subject matter (you’ll just have to watch). Our talented director and DP combo @alexandrabrodski and @carloscatalan_ brought me on board a unique and powerful show from creator @mrrichardgadd who also assembled a phenomenal cast. This show will be resonating for some time. Huge thanks to everyone for having me along for the ride and to our talented camera and grip team for having my back.
