As soon as I landed back in NYC I needed to see some theatre and this was the first piece I saw! Let’s go! Y’all set the bar hiiiiiigh!! Meaningful, moving, hilarious, bangin’ music that I had to stop myself from getting up out of my seat to dance to, beautiful storytelling, gritty, educational, and a criminally exorbitant display of talent and skill from the creators @mrbrianquijada & @nygeld , who were the only two on that stage and also played every damn instrument! They loop the music and build the show right in front of you! Go see this! God I love leaving the theatre inspired! @mexodusmusical
The power of theatre is the ability to inspire, educate, entertain, distract, engage, debate, commune, love. It can take the shape of anything and enact change.
