I’m being honored & the title I’m being honored with didn’t come from a crown, it came from the climb. I am a woman who chose growth when it was uncomfortable. Some of you appluad me for my strength and ability to stay soft & loving through this journey. Trust me I’ve crashed out but I chose truth even when it was messy. I chose myself even when it felt easier to crash out.
Queen of Elevations means I rise and stays grounded. I evolve without losing myself. I create space for others to grow while holding myself accountable to do the same. I am not just ascending, I am transforming.
So when you see me, don’t just see me. See the purpose, the shedding, the becoming.

So recently there was a tape released called “Black Garden” 🪴, two of the poets on the tape co-facilitate @pulluppoetry and help out with @solinspiredopenmic have offered/curated a space for “Black Garden” to be heard live. This is what creative community looks like!
So on May 17th, there will be an opportunity for folks who listened to the tape or for folks who enjoy live poetry readings to come into the shared space and experience some original pieces from the tape and then some.
