On August 30th, legendary R&B group @newedition was given a street renaming ceremony in the Orchard Park Projects (aka Orchard Gardens) neighborhood, in the heart of Roxbury, where it all started for Ralph, Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky & Mike.
Honored by the @cityofboston & Mayor Michelle Wu herself.
Me and my camera had a front row seat to this historical moment.
