Background: Within a 3 week span, 15 local artists collaborated together to create a 7 track EP & ready to perform. Each weekend in April, we had 3 separate 12 hour days to write, record and mix/master the project, & have memorized, ready to perform in less than a month.
A lot of times as artists (myself included) we get comfortable saying "We need to collab!" & let time go by and it never happens. I've known many of these individuals (even curated with them) for 5+ years & havent been on tracks together. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work and have a finished product with these amazing artists, poets and producers!

We’re merging the worlds of artist incubation and raw hip-hop culture. We're bringing the affordable studio access and performance platforms, and the Cambridge Hip Hop Collective is bringing the cipher to keep the roots of MA hip-hop alive and thriving. Creating a fully produced collaborative album and a live, open cipher you can jump into in real time. 🎤🔥
