@burntloaf.cafe is having a one weekend only pop-up at the @cambridgefoundry in Cambridge and if you’ve ever watched someone spend 30 minutes reverse engineering a bread they had in Thailand just out of pure excitement, you’d understand exactly why her food tastes the way it does. Leharika is a rock climber, an artist who hand draws her own menus, and someone who is obsessed with creating.

Foundry Artist-in-Residence, Kevin Lee (@inkreas ) is hosting "Drawing Figures from Imagination" on Saturday, May 16 from 1-4 pm. This is a free workshop for artists experienced in figure drawing, focused on inventing poses and compositions from memory and imagination.
There are still spots for some of our May maker space classes, and June's classes have been posted! Build and create something you can bring home with you.

A “drawing from imagination” class for intermediate artists who feel confident with drawing the figure from observation!
Bring your own supplies, whatever mediums you like, but if not, printer paper and pencils will be provided.

I didn’t expect to be out here making baklava scratch… but here we are!!
From chopping pistachios, walnuts & almonds to layering phyllo dough, this class was such a fun little side quest.
We started the class by learning a little about the history of baklava and its main ingredients which are the nuts. We used pistachios, walnut and almond! Once the nuts were prep’d, we moved to syrups, melted butter and sugar. Then it was time to assemble and cut our patterns which was fun yet a little nerve-wrecking
10/10 experience, I highly recommend if you’re looking for something fun and delicious to do in Boston.
