I had the pleasure of seeing @dick.griffin (musician, composer and painter) perform last night. He is 86 years young. #music #artist #ethancohengallery
About last night, @recirculation.nyc , had a wonderful conversation with @drashleydfarmer about her biography on Queen Mother Moore. It was an honor to have Charles Turner and Marilyn Nance in the audience both of whom knew and travelled with Queen Mother Moore. 📷erickwashington and 📷brianjoneseducator #queenmothermoore #harlem #recirculationnyc #wordupbooks

Repost:
📖 Queen Mother: Black Nationalism, Reparations, and the Untold Story of Audley Moore is the first biography of one of the most influential yet understudied Black activists and thinkers of the 20th century. The book shows how Moore fundamentally changed the scope and shape of Black struggle today. @pantheonbooks
