This campaign for Vanish UK focused on real-life moments — kids being kids, pets being pets — and showing just how easy Vanish can take care of the mess.
We’d like to add, the actual product was our go-to choice on set to manage the stains!
Thanks to @oliver_agency for trusting us to bring these wonderful little stories to life.

Off tar.
Into the dust.
Somewhere between setups and sunsets.
BTS from BMW X3 Rugged campaign.

Thanks to the crew who embraced the elements and kept things moving ♥️
BTS 📸 @vos_films
Late last year I got to shoot X3 Rugged for BMW South Africa.
This project was such a reminder of why I love my job.
Shooting in the bush, on dirt roads, through mud and dust, everything about this shoot was physical and immediate. The environment wasn’t just our backdrop, but a character in the story, and the challenge was letting that energy come through without overcomplicating the execution.
Sometimes the most satisfying shoots are the ones where you get to really lean into the terrain, embrace the dirt, and let the conditions do some of the work for you.
Thanks for having me @theoldshanghai & @bmwsouthafrica
Thank you to my incredible crew who braved the elements (and clock) with me
Thank you to @vos_films for the photos
A little look at how the shot came to life. Thought some of you might like to see this process.
From storyboard to animatic to the final picture. Storyboards are important when you know there will be vfx elements needed to create the shot, it helps everyone in the process know and understand what the end goal is.
Speaking to director @nadezna about these shots:
“These shots could have been in camera but we were shooting in the middle of some very rainy weather in Joburg and we didnt know what the ground would be like come shoot day. It rained heavily the night before our shoot so the ground was very wet and compacted, we knew we wouldn’t get any dust on the day. We had practical sfx dust with us but the moisture on the ground just absorbed it instantly. We had already planned for this though and the vfx team was on a hot standby.
Our decision to create the MINI logo in the sand in vfx was a timing one. Sometimes post is there to come the rescue in these situations. Logos are a very important element to a brand and it’s our responsibility to treat them with the same importance. Getting it just right in terms of sizing and placement would have taken us a day pre-shoot, which unfortunately we just didn’t have on this one. In this case it is the more economical decision to do this in post - and spend more time spinning cars on the shoot day.
There is always a lot you can ‘fix in post’ but planning ahead for situations that may not work out in camera is the best way to approach any board. Speaking to your vfx team before the shoot about your in-camera sfx (that may not work on the day - like our dust) will make your shoot day a bit easier.”
Thank you to the amazing post team on this:

Tell Me Stories Ceramics
Tell Me Stories Ceramics is a film by @vos_films that is an intimate look into the work and studio of ceramicist Jordana Lynden-Swift.
“What ever you make, you are going to inflict on the world, there’s a responsibility to that.” A beautiful thought from Jordana, for us creatives to remember and contemplate.

Effy Jewellery x Beading the Odds
@beading_the_odds is one of the most inspiring NPOs we’ve had the privilege to work with. Creating this piece for them and @effyjewelry was an honour.
Their work is life-changing, they help survivors of gender-based violence rebuild their lives through economic empowerment and creative expression. What began as a small collective of 25 women has now grown to more than 90 across four provinces, and they continue to expand and reach more woman and communities.
This growth has been made possible, in part, through a meaningful and long-term partnership with Effy Jewellery.
For Effy, this partnership was the result of a thoughtful, long process to find a partner whose values aligned with their own. Beading the Odds was an ideal match. Their shared belief in empowerment, resilience, and purpose became the foundation of this collaboration.
Together, they’ve created a limited-edition bracelet, designed exclusively for Effy’s global customer base, that represents not just craftsmanship, but hope, survival, and solidarity.
We need more brands like Effy Jewellery, brands that show up with intention, invest in long-term relationships, and recognise that real change is built together.
Please take a moment to watch the film and hear directly from these women, their strength and their stories speak for themselves.

From a production space we’d like to thank our team who helped us tell this story. These shoots require us to come together in heart and mind, think about and approach production from a different space. Thank you.
