My submission for the BTA by @remymartin Competition.
Inspired by the terroir of Cognac, a celebration of delicate flavors and intentional service. This cocktail is my vision/take on a more subtle French 75, clarified and topped with flavorless bubbles to highlight the flavors of Remy, hay, tonka, vanilla, caramel, and citrus.

i am so bad at documenting things but i am so lucky to be able to do the thing i love every single day. bartending has changed my life and who i am completely for the better. it’s made me a happier, stronger, and more confident person. i’ve had the most amazing experiences and made the greatest friends. we don’t do it because it’s easy or makes us rich, we do it because it’s in our blood. i love it here. happy world bartender day. i’ll try to take more pictures next year.

My entry for the @glendaloughdistillery Irish Coffee Competition was inspired by the story of St. Kevin, who was so moved by the beauty of a sole blackbird living in the valley of the Wicklow mountains that he decided to pursue a more honorable life in the settlement that would eventually become home to the Glendalough Distillery.
This cocktail is rich, comforting, and quietly luxurious, fitting for such a jewel nestled within the mountains of Wicklow.
Glendalough Single Grain Double Barrel Finish. Creme de Cassis. White Chocolate. Espresso. Saline.

staying true to form, i had so much fun at @pdxcw that i mostly forgot about taking pictures. here’s a few!
i am eternally grateful to @livethelushlife and the entire @lushlifeproductions team for once again giving me the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with people that are as passionate about this crazy world of bartending as much as i am. this third time at portland cocktail week was the best yet!

It’s been about a year since I moved to Chicago and it’s crazy to think how much my life has completely changed and how many amazing things gave happened. I’ve had the chance to get better at my career that I love, become friends with some amazing people, and have so many adventures and new experiences! There’s already some exciting things coming in the next few months (stay tuned!) and I can’t wait to see how year 2 goes ☺️
