@adctulsa and I wrapped our last keynote of the season with animator/toy photographer @workmoreorless . If you grew up buying toys for the epic commercial dioramas and were personally devastated when your Batman figure showed up without the cityscape backdrop (yes, I cried) this one was for you!
Jason not only gave us a unique look at what makes toys look so cool in commercials but even brought live dioramas for a hands-on experience. Some of his notable clients include Star Wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, ESPN and many more.

Jason has collaborated with iconic brands like Star Wars, Hasbro, Mattel, and many more. His passion for educating and inspiring the next generation of creatives shines through in everything he does, and we can’t wait to share more soon!
Fun fact: The Batman and Joker figures featured in his work are from Batman: The Animated Series, which was co-developed by Tulsan Bruce Timm!

I’m incredibly proud of how this concept, inspired by @stanleykubrick 2001 A Space Odyssey, turned out. Though I have contributed to many Gallery 1988 shows over the years, this marks the first piece that I have incorporated toy photography into. As you can see with the following BTS images, I stayed true to my illustrative approach while balancing both mediums to create the final result.

Here is my contribution to the @galleries1988 “30 Years Later” show! As a kid I remember taking a bunch of my buddies to see TMNT in the theater for my 9th birthday. It was totally radical. Creating this piece brought back a lot of awesome memories. .

I’ve been busy with a number of projects but wanted to share one I recently wrapped up with Darigold. Our goal was to revamp the visual aesthetics for the Darigold FIT Milk packaging, and I was brought in to provide the illustration, while Creative Lead, Scott Ralls brought it home with the design and layout. Keep an eye out at your local grocery stores and Walmart, as these have started hitting shelves!

Over the last few months I’ve been collaborating with my extremely talented friend Eric Lee on an original series we call Dumskullz. Since we love toys, we thought it would be fun to try our hand at making our own! We’re still exploring the possibilities but thought I’d share a sneak peek at our initial proof of concept.
