Over the last two decades, JP has made his mark playing drums for the iconic group @brokensocialscene who have a brand new album out called “Remember The Humans” that is wonderful! His creative endeavors extend to beat production and visual arts. He handles their album artwork as well. Music Produced by @butcher_bear w/ Strong Silent Type @nicholasmoulos All lyrics written by @chiefdoomsday “Less Than Near 0” is a new four-song collaboration between Austin-born producer Butcher Bear and MC Chief & The Doomsday Device, with co-production from Strong Silent Type (Nick Moulos). The EP reimagines the late-’70s Laurel Canyon spirit through a Texas lens—sampled vinyl and live instrumentation flow seamlessly together, while Chief paints verbal landscapes with a voice equal parts surrealist and storyteller. Though all three collaborators trace their roots back to Austin, the record stretches beyond geography and is able to conjure something timeless from vinyl dust.
