After a lovely day taking part in the art fair @berrettsfarm yesterday, I'm now getting ready for this weekends @floralfringefair 💚 I'm really looking forward to taking part in this brilliantly quirky fair. The setting is beautiful, and the weather forecast is good. Get your tickets online. I think it's going to be lots of fun 😊
It's my second year taking part in @doves.for.peace 🕊 a fantastic initiative run by Dorothy, who gathers work by artists to auction in aid of @warchilduk ❤️ I'm donating these two original pastel and paint sgraffito canvas boards that are based on two of my screenprints.
The auction takes place at 5pm on the 17th of September and is hosted by @will_farmer99@fieldingsauctioneers in Stourbridge. The event is open to all and is free to attend, but you can also register and bid online. Have a look @doves.for.peace to see some of the work that will be available to raise money for this amazing charity.

I made some screenprinted otters and owls the other evening using watercolour pencils. I wasn't as keen on the owls so I decided to blotchily screenprint around them with bright blue. The ghostly lines were a little faint on some and made your eyes go funny so I went over bits of them with the watercolour pencil. I rather like them now, nicely weird 😊 Swipe for stages and close ups.

I'm donating these six 'otters under a blue moon' screenprints to the brilliant @thoughtpressproject which has been running for a few years now. Each year they set a theme and ask printmakers to donate prints to raise money for the chosen charities. This year the theme is 'home is where the heart is' with all money raised going to @centrepointuk and @ediblerotherhithe 💚
These prints measure 21x21cm and have been screenprinted in multiple layers on to 320 gsm Khadi paper. Each one is slightly different as some of the ink layers are mixed on the screen whilst printing.

My daughter was getting rid of a sort of fawny coloured sweatshirt the other week so i decided to screenprint it with pale blue swifts and keep it for myself. I like it so much I've sourced as close a colour match sweatshirt as possible and printed them in the same blue. I've only a small, a medium and a large but they're coming with me to @stannswell_springfestival tomorrow ❤️🙌 Hope to see some of you there 👋
