While our list features plenty of places that are famous for a reason, I love that our No. 1 town is a little more unexpected – a seaside gem with timeless holiday charm that has a buzz around it right now, with creative new businesses adding to its appeal. I visited a couple of years ago to tour the excellent
@waubsharbourwhisky – it made such an impression in half a day, I need to get back and stay longer.
Above all we love supporting and championing travel in regional Australia. I just wish we could fit all the towns in! (Although I wouldn’t be saying that on deadline…)
