Satellite Island, to do list:
1. Shuck oysters
2. Pour wine
That just about sums it up!
——
I have a few throwback posts drafted for this very special island. I love the way image pairing and design can completely change the overall vibe of a series of images, so I spent some time playing around with the way these were displayed across multiple posts - and well, I loved them all, each for a different reason. I’ll be back with more.

“The past is buried deep within the ground in Rabat, although the ancient walls in the old city are still standing, painted in electrifying variations of royal blue that make the winding roads look like streamlets or shallow ocean water” - Raquel Cepeda
(Pictured: not Rabat, lol sorry)
Morocco with @gadventures and @flightcentreau - still one of my favourite trips to reflect on.

24 hours at Garaanngaddim (Horizontal Falls) with the team at Jetwave Pearl, shot for Journey Beyond and Australian Traveller Magazine.
A sacred and breathtaking place that has to be seen with your own eyes in order to be truly understood.

Thrilled to have shot the cover for the first issue of the year for @austtraveller featuring a lesser travelled section of our well loved Bibbulman track for a grounding story written by @fleurbainger on @cape2camp
Huge thanks go to @jessicawyld for jumping in pretty last minute to help me complete the imagery for the inside story and to @andrewoverbye for always being willing to hike somewhere with very little info (from me) so that I can get the shot I need! Thanks also to Anne from Cape2 Camp for all of the detailed instructions and information that helped us bring this all together!
Incredible design work (as always) by @lauren.de.sousa ♥️
Check out the full story in this months issue!

It’s here! I’m absolutely thrilled to join the founding team for @fujifilmx_au new #greenblooded community. A space where we celebrate the art of creation - no matter your level of experience.
My journey with Fujifilm is a really honest and authentic story, born of a mutual love for exceptional quality and explorative creativity. For the past five years, I’ve been an enthusiastic ambassador for everything Fujifilm (my apologies to anyone who ever got trapped during one of my “Fujifilm is the greatest” spiels) and I stand by the claim that switching to Fujifilm completely changed the way I create and work, for the better.
Last year, I was extremely humbled to be a global ambassador for the launch of the Fujifilm X-T50 - a beautifully designed and compact camera that would end up playing a huge role in my recovery from professional burnout.
When interviewed on stage at the Sydney-based Global X-Summit, I shared that I felt that Fujifilm has an enormous sense of dedication to creating cameras that are exceptionally balanced between professionalism and creativity.
This assimilation of power and artistry is something I believe in wholeheartedly. Fujifilm’s wide range of cameras and the features they champion, don’t just help young artists to grow or professionals to thrive, they also encourage all of us to remain creative - to explore, experiment and truly enjoy the art of photography in its purest form.
I could not be more humbled to join the #greenblooded founding team and I can’t wait to see all of my fellow Fujifilm crew collaborating and creating together as we launch this new venture.

[2025 reflection: The Bonito King. Yukiaki Tenpaku, for International Traveller Magazine]
As per usual, I am very late to the game. I didn’t post a lot of work on here last year and it something id definitely like to get better at!
I thought I’d post some of my work highlights from 2025 to kick off this year (and to make up for several months of not posting anything 😅)
Starting off my 2025 reflection series with the absolutely wonderful @yukiakitenpaku who I had the absolute privelege to meet and photograph for @internationaltraveller magazine in February last year.
I’ve nicknamed Yukiaki “Bonito King”, for no other reason than the fact that he is one of the last artisanal makers of Honkarebushi in Japan. It was maybe one of the more rambunctious adventures of 2025…. Andy and I navigated our way down to Yukiaki’s little seaside abode, managed to track him down via an employee that spoke very little English and then proceeded to put all of our trust in the universe when Yukiaki insisted we get in his car.
We drove for about 15 minutes before pulling up at his factory, where he quickly located an English speaking employee and tried to work out who we were and why we were there. Once we’d managed to explain what we were doing there (and the email warning of our arrival was enthusiastically found) the excitement was next level. We were generously gifted a whole variety of products from the Tenpaku catalogue of Bonito and the Yukiaki insisted on driving us all the way back to our hotel in Ise Shima (a 40 minute drive, to which we finally managed to convince him to drop us off at a train station that would connect us directly to the hotel as we really didn’t want to inconvenience him!)
Yukiaki Tenpaku really drove home the kindness of Japanese people for me. The kindest, funniest man, who was a total jokester (even with a language barrier) and wish we’d had more time with him!
A huge thanks goes out to the team at International Traveller for trusting me to photograph this.
These images don’t reflect what was published in the February issue - but you can take a look at the full article, written by Lara Picone on the International Traveller website.
It doesn’t matter how many times I experience Western Australia, I’m always blown away by its beauty. From stunning ocean vistas, otherworldly caves and forests and some of the best food and wine (in the world, if you ask me) - there’s no end to the number of photos I could take here.
I’m thrilled to have partnered with Tripadvisor and Tourism WA, to bring my own personal itinerary to life. Encompassing all that I love about the region, my five day, four night itinerary will take you from Perth to Margaret River (with time spent in Fremantle, Dunsborough, Augusta, Yallingup and Busselton). I hope you enjoy this grounding and invigorating adventure, as much as I did!

July in Sicily is crowded in a way that only southern Italy summers know how - rainbow umbrellas elbow one another for space, children leap over towels - the scent of salt and sunscreen only marginally thicker than the hum of foreign languages that press into stripes of shade.
At times it feels overwhelming, but somewhere between the squeak of plastic loungers and squeals of children playing, it all blurs into something slower. A ritual. The sea glitters like foil. Boats drift lazily on the horizon.
Just to be there, barefoot on pebbles, skin scratchy with salt, watching the day stretch out like laundry on a line - eventually, we all become silhouettes against a setting sun.
(From exactly a year ago, posted from my living room floor in front of a heater because it’s winter in Perth 🥲)

A few years ago, I had the absolutely pleasure of staying a few nights in a backyard studio that my dear friend @deekawai has lovingly and stylishly designed, renovated and curated from the ground up.
@kawaheartstudio is like taking a nap in the sunshine on a cool spring day. It’s nostalgic and inspiring and calming all at the same time. You’re a talent I’ll never stop admiring, Dee!

I could happily spend the rest of my life tucked away in a riad in Marrakech’s Medina - especially if it looks like the stunning @dardarma.riad
Back home and slowly making it through photos and video. Stay tuned for much more Morocco!
