Iman Nazemzadeh carved his way to Los Angeles in 2004, just after appearing in Robert Rodriguez’s Sin City, along with NBC’s primetime pickup series LAX and just having won a national competition for CBS’s Young & the Restless collegiate casting. He has worked on two dozen primetime TV shows over the last twenty years. His writing and directing debut Still Here premiered at The Palm Springs International Short Film Festival in 2013 and his most recent short film A Song for Gracie premiered at Woodstock Film Festival in October 2024. He currently teaches acting on film at the Margie Haber Studios in Los Angeles. A graduate of SMU’s Meadows School of the Arts.

5. I worked with @davidrqliu on a feature called "Samir" and had one of the most creatively cathartic moments of life. Found a good reason to work with him again. Except he was in the directors chair this time. His creative decision's and choices were always of high standard and honoring the integrity of the story was always at the top of his list.
6. Our producer @bavand_karim came on this project and helped us manifest it into a reality. His creative feedback at every step from start to finish and gathering trusted creatives to assist us made his contribution priceless.
7. @donohmerremhonod was the glue that kept our production together and moving forward. He did it with patience and ease, kindness and integrity. He made it seem effortless to say the least.
8. My beautiful mom and dad - all three days of production they woke up in the early hours of the morning and made a spread for breakfast as elaborate as the one in the picture. They did it with such grace and joy each morning. I am beyond lucky to have parents like them. No matter what I do I will never be able to pay them back.

"In The Garden of Tulips" short film has been accepted to the Clermont-Ferrand Int'l Short Film Festival in France. They've been on my radar since 2012. Blown away and beyond grateful! We are one of 64 films accepted out of 9,500 submissions. Huge congratulations to our director @julia_elihu and our writer/lead actress @avalalezarzadeh and our producer @amlemle and the rest of the "Tulips" team.
