Upsidedown will premier at Tribeca this year! This was such a fun script about a family run Arab restaurant, the dynamic of immigrant parents and their first gen kids, and the drama of how (uncultured) critics can make or break a struggling family restaurant.

The Breakthrough starring Greta Lee, @ben_sinclair and @slaysman premiered at SXSW this year. My tiny but mighty team of @danikramos and @nessers77 transformed a guest bedroom into a therapist’s office in one day! We removed closet doors, built, painted and installed a wall plug, and dressed the entire space to fit the vibe of a culturally appropriative doctor. I think we nailed it :)

Only drank a total of 8 times throughout the year. Sobriety helped me actually feel my emotions, navigate through them and truly accept them for what they had to teach me.
Started writing a memoir of sorts, a new way to utilize creativity by transforming my pain into tangible evidence of my existence.
