I urge the FCC to keep the national television ownership cap in place. Allowing a single company to control more than 39% of U.S. households would reduce competition, weaken local journalism, and concentrate too much power over the information Americans receive.
Local TV news is one of the most trusted sources for communities. Consolidation means fewer local voices, more national talking points, and less accountability to the public. The FCC should protect diversity and localism by rejecting efforts to loosen or repeal this rule.
