👑🇬🇧Continued from my previous reel… we had the privilege to meet HRH King Charles III, while officiating the opening of @eastbrookstudioslondon 🎬🎥 The day was a great success, both as an event and an actual shoot. Being sniffed about by the Royal security dog while lighting the set with house lights on was a treat. 😉🦮🐾 Congratulations to both Royal staff and crew for doing great work together during preparations. We also received a Royal applause from HRH which was a nice surprise. 😊 👏🏼👏🏼 He watched us film a whole oner, which was also a surprise and fun to put my Amazing Race operating skills back in action - just go! 🏃🏻‍♀️🎥 ( …and I know the Easyrig is lopsided on me… I didn’t want to hit him in the head with arm. It was also too big for me as most rental shops don’t actually stock women’s models or small sizes. No mansplanning! ) A great day indeed, a success on all accounts. Introducing our newest member @anna_vialova Hi everyone! This is Anna Vialova, a Ukrainian cinematographer based in London, and I’m so honored to join @illuminatrix_rising_dops ! ✨ The path into filmmaking started in my beloved Kyiv in 2013, followed by a degree in Cinematography in the US. Before focusing fully on narrative film, I spent time as a fashion photographer, shooting for Vogue, ELLE, and Harper’s Bazaar, an experience that deeply shaped my visual style. 📸 My narrative work has since screened at festivals like Raindance, Clermont-Ferrand, Austin Film Fest among others. After relocating to Europe in 2022 due to the invasion of my home country, life unexpectedly brought me into the beautiful world of dance cinematography. I am now actively working with Sadler’s Wells in London, alongside continuing to bring compelling narratives to life on screen. 🩰 I’m always eager to collaborate and connect with fellow creatives, so feel free to reach out and let’s grab same damn good coffee *with a piece of fresh sourdough and butter* ☕️ Cheers! 🎥

Introducing our newest member @domisalu Ciaoo! It’s Domizia here, very happy to be joining the Illuminatrix family. Slight disclaimer: I’m very much a behind-the-camera person… but here we are. I come from a small city in the centre of Italy, that’s where everything started. I fell in love with people and their stories long before I chose a medium then Photography became my way in. It took me into lives and spaces I would have never expected to cross paths with, and it still shapes how I see and build images today. This journey brought me to London 11 years ago, where I studied photojournalism and documentary photography, then started working on film sets as a unit stills photographer. That’s where things shifted. I started working the camera department as a trainee , then working my way up, while continuing to shoot both photography and film. Fully Focused was also a big part of that journey, opening doors, giving me training, and trusting my with my craft. Since then, I’ve shot 30+ short films across drama, comedy and documentary, worked as second unit on TV projects, and recently shot my first feature documentary as a DP for a major streamer. Some of my work includes Man to Man (BAFTA & BIFA qualifying, 20+ awards including Best Cinematography), as well as two Netflix-funded shorts, a BFI short, and a project currently on Apple TV. At the moment I’m working towards my first scripted feature, while continuing to bring to life stories I care about. I’m drawn to character-led, socially driven stories and would love to explore more dystopian, slightly uncomfortable worlds. Introducing our newest member @nuria.prz Hola! This is Núria Pérez, based in London, born in Barcelona. I work mainly in narrative. What would I like to shoot? I love science fiction, fantasy and adventure stories, and would love to shoot more of these. But essentially I’m on the lookout for my first feature 😉 🙋🏻‍♀️ Recently I have been lighting shortform as well as taking care of 2nd Units for projects like: 🎬Prima Facie 🎬 The Duchess and I The responsibility was to create visuals that would help the narrative of the story, but some other times I anticipate technical setups. 🤓My past live as Livegrade DIT has helped me grow through observation, and learn about narrative lighting and composition with incredibly experienced DPs on set. Everyday was a Masterclass: creatively, but also on being a team player, leadership, and humility. This journey began studying a Masters in Cinematography at ESCAC (in Bcn), 18years ago.
