Introducing our newest member @nuria.prz
Hola! This is Núria Pérez, based in London, born in Barcelona. I work mainly in narrative.
What would I like to shoot? I love science fiction, fantasy and adventure stories, and would love to shoot more of these. But essentially I’m on the lookout for my first feature 😉 🙋🏻♀️
Recently I have been lighting shortform as well as taking care of 2nd Units for projects like:
🎬Prima Facie 🎬 The Duchess and I
The responsibility was to create visuals that would help the narrative of the story, but some other times I anticipate technical setups.
🤓My past live as Livegrade DIT has helped me grow through observation, and learn about narrative lighting and composition with incredibly experienced DPs on set. Everyday was a Masterclass: creatively, but also on being a team player, leadership, and humility.
This journey began studying a Masters in Cinematography at ESCAC (in Bcn), 18years ago. Today it’s a true honour to be part of the @illuminatrix_rising collective.

Seven Dials Seven Dials Seven Dials Seven Dials EP1 Splinter Unit DP work and some B Cam is a Mystery 🕵🏻♀️ how I got there buuuuut…. It all happened thanks to the amazing DP @lukebryantdop . Second time as Splinter Unit DP - filming the clocks 🕰️ and working from high angles. First chance that I had as B Cam on a proper show (with Ms Helena yes in front of the camera). It all started as a Shadowing Experience 💥and we took it from there. Thanks to the fantastics Doug Walshe and @benpurcell23 for all his shared knowledge and @cameronaxsel + Ben Smith for their assistance! I’m honestly super grateful for this experience ✨
Num1 on Netflix in January (yes I’m posting this v late and edited by dropping one shot after the next one!)

Random compilation from a world where ACam is pink (or Roze) and Bcam is green. Where peacocks go to the gym. There was a FP, 3 DPs, 2 PMs, one LP, one Producer and a Data who raised by lifting others.
D Cam and VFX plates were never so exciting (and data managing never got so many opportunities).
Thanks for trusting, I keep learning. I know my team mate num 1, Andre, delivered.

One from 2022: on “Greatest Days” I took over a non-official Splinter Unit - our main unit DP, the lovely Mike Eley bsc, had to travel to the studios where we would be filming the following week.
We were outside of Clitheroe, with @lisac_1stac as 1st AC and Warwick Druker as grip. I took my Odyssey and exposed the above shots for the film.
A very special night celebrating the 75th year of the BSC @bscine and the 69th BSC Awards!
Very happy to be a part of it, sharing it with @aimatamia and @rozemarijnstokkel , meeting with 🔝 @tania_freimuth@jackieteboul and @samantha_camera amongst many other creative artists (I only got these great photos thanks to Rosie!).

- Getting one of them on the Shiny List
- Shooting a BW shortfilm
- Shooting online content
- Organising a textiles workshop for WBTC with @greenkitlondon and 2 genius bright professionals
- Directing and DPing a doco with the amazing elite athlete @26claraperez - the Spanish goal keeper for field hockey (now in the edit)
- The release of 2 shortfilms that I DP’d
- Getting one accepted at Aesthetica Film Festival
- The release of a music video that I DP’d
- Becoming Amiga de la AEC
- Completing CIMA Mentoring 1-to-1 with @pilarsanchezdiazdop
- Attending the BSC Operators Night with Kodak and WBTC @women_behind_the_camera
- Finally receiving our set of Atlas Mercury and putting them up at a rental house
- Getting my own Easyrig with the Cinema Flex vest and also putting it at a rental house
- Unexpectedly acquiring a practice head and start improving my skills at the wheels
