Full cover painting for the Paradigm- Psychedelic Madness lp being put out by @davemirrafreestylebmx3 who had the very vivid idea for the image. My buddy @towrental showed me the Wicked Witch comp probably over a decade ago and I’ve been jamming it ever since, so to find out there was not only more music from this guy but that it’s a)- fuckin awesome and sounds like thin lizzy/mahavishnu orchestra/ a slew of other things and b)- that I would be painting the cover art is killer. More art for this release coming soon. Painted with opaque watercolor and gouache.

Before there was Wicked Witch… there was PARADIGM. Exhumed from Rick Simms’ basement following a flood, unheard for almost 50 years, and nearly lost to time. Recorded in 1978 and shelved, “Psychedelic Madness” is FINALLY HERE and available for preorder along with a tee designed by @total__slaughter 5 blazing tracks melding elements of funk, progressive & psychedelic rock, jazz fusion, and even heavy metal, all of which have been painstakingly mastered, mixed, and tracked for the first time since they were put to the original 1/4” reel by @strmastering Heralded among fans upon its discovery as a sort of “missing link” in the NWOBHM (new wave of british heavy metal) canon, these previously unreleased tracks transcend time, a true testament to the technical prowess of an incredible, yet lost band. Not only does this release include the aforementioned unreleased “Psychedelic Madness” lp, a bonus 12” disc and 6 bonus previously unreleased and ultra-rare recordings remastered is also included, along with an expansive biography & interview with the members of Paradigm on the history of the project and their musical journey in their own words by @valbarano , notes on the release’s production by Matt Ibarra & C.B. Cobb, and a full color 27x40 poster, housed in a glossy gatefold jacket with mindblowing illustrations by @illogicalcomics and @everlookataflowerandhateit
