The Ravensthorpe Cultural Precinct is nestled near the #unesco Biosphere in Fitzgerald National Park. This stunning addition to the community fosters community connections, bringing together the community resource centre and library, the seniors group, playgroup, youth group, the Dunn art group and the Shire administration.

The recently completed Ravensthorpe Cultural Precinct is a collaboration between @peterhobbsarchitects , @atc_studio_ and @iflab.design .
This is the new home to the @ravensthorpe.crc , the Shire of Ravensthorpe and a number of local community groups.
The stunning building features an LVL structure and clad inside and outside with local plantation yellow stringy bark.

A short clip showing the ‘Cygnia’ sculpture in development. The form was inspired by the aerial view of the Swan River and the way the black swan gracefully tucks its head underneath its wing.

According to Landgate, Piara Waters was named for “Piara”,
a local Noongar language word for the Banksia Attenuata,
commonly known as the candlestick banksia.
