What does sustainable building mean to you?   To us, it means reducing carbon emissions produced through our timber construction processes.   With the construction industry being responsible for approximately 40% of energy related and embodied emissions globally – Timberbuilt aims to be at the forefront of creating a better tomorrow for future generations.   The Talking Timber Breakfast this Thursday hosted by Property Council of Australia will give you the opportunity to collaborate with industry professionals already making big changes in this space.   #talkingtimber #sustainability #timberbuiltaustralia #timberbuilt #industryleadership #timberconstruction #modularconstruction #modular #prefabrication #prefab #sustainableconstruction #construction #timber #propertycouncilaustralia #sustainability

BOULTER HEIGHTS STAIRCASE.   Engaged by Kilmore Group, Timberbuilt Australia has recently delivered this stunning staircase at Boulter Heights for the City of Bunbury.   This timber staircase was built to meet the project scope of a low maintenance and modern design that blends in with the site’s topography - we think we’ve hit the nail on the head! Earthworks were done by RF Construction and installation completed by BUSS.   The team carried out the following works:   - Site dilapidation surveys - Detailed design and 3D modelling - Removal and remediation to existing foundations - Fabrication and construction of new staircase - Stakeholder management - Management of OH&S   We are delighted to have completed this project that has revitalised an important thoroughfare for locals, whilst offering great panoramic views over Bunbury. Thank you to ITI  for material supplies.

Project update! Check out the progress pictures of the Eaton Junior Football and Cricket Club D&C in WA’s South West. The Shire of Dardanup had ambitious sustainability goals in mind for this project – nominating timber as their construction material of choice. Working with @iflab.design , we were happy to offer a solution, promoting the following benefits of timber use: • sustainably sourced and engineered timber • reduction of carbon emissions that would be generated in typical construction • speeding up the construction process holistically. The Eaton Pavilion showcases Timberbuilt’s commitment to sustainable practices and innovative solutions ♻. #sustainability #timberbuilt #timberconstruction #prefabrication #sustainableconstruction #construction #timber

Feast your eyes on the incredible before and after photos of our latest project - Ravensthorpe Cultural Centre. The SHIRE OF RAVENSTHORPE aimed to create a space that highlights the areas rich history and culture while serving as a community hub and a starting point for visitors to explore the region. The final result is a testament to their success, and we are proud to have prioritised sustainability by using local talent and Timber Construction in the fabrication and installation of the project. Throughout this project, young people had the opportunity to learn cutting edge structural timber prefabrication techniques using state of the art BIM and CNC technology, all within the state. We are very grateful to the Ravensthorpe community for entrusting us with this legacy project. A big shoutout to everyone mentioned below for being an integral part of this project and helping us achieve our goals! When the Shire of Ravensthorpe set out to design their new Cultural Centre, they knew they wanted something special - A place that demonstrated the rich history and culture of the area, a hub for their community and a focal point for visitors to begin the exploration of their part of the world. They nailed it! Sustainability was high on their agenda and the Shire is leading by example with the resurgence of Timber Construction in WA by engaging homegrown talent to fabricate and install their project. This project has created opportunities for young people to be trained in some of the latest structural timber prefabrication methods using state-of-the-art BIM and CNC capabilities all within our own State. Thanks to the community of Ravensthorpe for allowing us to be a part of your legacy. Keep an eye out for completion photos!
