A Dreamers Journey. What an incredible gift to be able to capture @therealbillydee my childhood hero. If you knew the amount of work it took to get here, you wouldn’t believe it. This process at times seemed impossible. A life long dream fulfilled. He said “You look like you could be my son & you have the smiley eyes”. 2021 was the greatest year of my career. I was honored to direct a few films, documentaries and commercials. I shot some major campaigns. I want to thank God for all the opportunities & doors He opened for me & my team. Some of the biggest projects of my career are in post-production & hopefully launching in 2022. One true highlight was getting to shoot someone who I’ve dreamt of working with since childhood - truly one of the most iconic and legendary figures of our time. “Shake ‘Em” and “Last Season in Oakland” by Squint, presented at our group exhibition “Visual Field” during Super Bowl LX week. Squint has shown steadfast support to the studio over the years and was the first person we called after deciding to host a group show. Without a moment of hesitation, he said he was on board, giving us a boost of confidence and the momentum to charge ahead. A longtime documentarian of some of the Bay Area’s most legendary athletes, Squint has spent years capturing Marshawn Lynch on and off the field throughout his career. For the show, he selected images from two particularly poignant moments of @beastmode competing as an Oakland Raider. Khristopher “Squint” Sandifer is an award-winning Bay Area native film director and photographer with a passion for cinematic storytelling. A true “Visual Composer,” he blends film, photography, and branding to transform ideas into bold, compelling visual narratives.
